Northwest Wild Foods has been around for 27 years now. We started off way back in 1986 harvesting our prized Little Wild Blackberry from the Cascade Mountains here in the Pacific Northwest. What started out as a few pickers and a few pounds of berries has turned into hundreds of pickers and tons of berries each year. We are now by far the largest harvester of these berries each year and channel them wholesale to restaurants and to retail customers on the internet. Both channels have one thing in common, Little Wild Blackberry Cobbler. Anyone who has tasted this cobbler would admit, its the best cobbler period... Over the years our small operation has grown and grown and now we harvest the Wild Blue Huckleberry from the Mt. St. Helens region in Washington State as well as the Priest Lake region in Idaho. We harvest the Wild Red Huckleberry from the Hoh River region here in Washington State and the Wild blueberry from up and down the Cascades. 1999 brought the introduction of our new website, www.nwwildfoods.com. This would spark a new era in our business. With our special one-of-a-kind berries we now offered delicious Jams, Syrups, and Honey's in three flavors, Wild Blackberry, Wild Blue Huckleberry and Wild Red Huckleberry, along with gift packs and other Wild Berry Treats. We also started shipping frozen berries to customers so they could make their own pies or other treats. The road to today has been on going learning process which has been very rewarding for our small company. As we move ahead, we look forward to giving our customers the healthy, delicious berries and other foods we so admire.
