One of the most prized white fish in the world, Chilean Sea Bass has an amazing silky texture and buttery flavor similar to that of the black cod or lobster. Chilean Sea Bass is also a low calorie, Omega-3 rich fish that is now sustainably harvested in the deep cold waters of the South Pacific Ocean. Our premium fish are line caught in Patagonia and frozen at sea, locking in the delicious flavor and texture of the fish. We also hand select only the smallest fish to ensure the cleanest fish possible. The real name for Chilean sea bass is the Patagonian Toothfish. It is a deep water species, and technically not a member of the Bass family at all. This fish is caught in the cold, deep waters off the coast of Antarctica, and earned the name Chilean sea bass because Chile was the first country to bring it to market, and “sea bass” was deemed more commercially viable than “toothfish.”

Its high oil content is largely comprised of omega-3 fatty acids and helps prevent overcooking. Individually flash-frozen and vacuum-packaged in recipe-ready portions.
