Our wild Alaskan black cod are long line caught in the Southeastern waters of Alaska by our multi-generational family fisherman and women. Fishing on these small family fishing vessels is a very hands on process where the fisherman take pride of ownership with each fish caught and strive to provide unmatched quality in their catch. These fish are line caught and hand filleted, then portioned and soaked in a delicious traditional brine before being hot smoked to perfection. Smoked black cod is a true experience of the best of the wild Alaskan fish. Black cod are an excellent source of high quality protein as well as a rich source of iron, calcium, copper, and other minerals.
Our smoked black cod is made with carefully hand selected Wild Black Cod which are extremely high in omega-3. The black cod are cured in a handcrafted brine and hot smoked to perfection.
