Garlic Butter Baked Halibut

 

Looking for a simple yet quick and delicious meal? Try the Garlic Butter Baked Halibut recipe! Ingredients:

  • 3 x 6 Ounce Wild Alaskan Halibut Fillets
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 2 Tbsp finely chopped parsley
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt (to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper (to taste)
  • A dollop of Lemon herb butter

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 450’F
  2. lightly cover Halibut fillets in olive oil
  3. Arrange single layered on a baking dish
  4. In a small saucepan, over low heat, melt the butter
  5. Add garlic to the melted butter and sauté for around 5 minutes or until golden brown
  6. Place Halibut in oven for 10 minutes; after 5 minutes begin to baste Halibut with butter mixture and continue to do so for remainder of cook time
  7. Check to make sure the Halibut is at its ideal cooked temperature of 145’F
  8. Place a dollop of lemon herb butter on top and serve!
